New PACS v5.8.888 release includes upgrade of .Net Framework to 4.7.2 which is currently support by Microsoft, as well as fixes to issues based on SpiceWorks tickets. Refer to the PACS v5.8.888 Release Notes for additional details.
You can download the PACS v5.8.888 patch from our Downloads page (available for registered users).
Use this PACS Patch file to update PACS to version 5.8.888, if an earlier version of PACS is already installed on the machine, and the version needs to be updated. Refer to the PACS Installation Guide for instructions on the PACS update procedure.
Prerequisites:
For PACS version 5.8.888 installation or upgrade, ensure that .NET Framework 4.7.2 or later is enabled in Windows Server Features.
• Windows Server 2019 and later versions include .NET Framework 4.7.2 (or higher) as a built-in component.
• For Windows Server 2016 and earlier versions, .NET Framework 4.7.2 Runtime must be installed manually.
You can download the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2 Runtime offline installer (NDP472-KB4054530-x86-x64-AllOS-ENU.exe) from the official Microsoft site.
